Aaron David Minifield, Sr.
Aaron David Minifield, Sr., 47, Inwood, WV went home to be with the Lord on February 8th, 2017. "David" was born June 13, 1969 in Winchester, VA. He was the son of Kenneth Minifield of Toms Brook, VA and Helen Jackson Minifield of Stephens City, VA. David proudly served in the United States Army, during which he was deployed to serve as a tanker in Desert Storm. He would come home to serve as a Law Enforcement Officer for the Town of Stephens City and served in the City of Winchester as an officer for 15 years. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved dogs, Milo and Champ.
He was married to Brandon Owens Minifield of Inwood, VA.
David is survived by his parents, Kenneth Minifield and Helen Minifield; his wife Brandon Owens Minifield; two brothers, Kurt Minifield of Clayton, NC and Kenneth Minifield, Jr. of Fort Collins, CO.; three sisters, Yvette Stallings of Stephens City, VA, Jacqueline Brown of Gastonia, NC,, Carisa Tolerico of Gainesville, VA., and Sandra Ball whom preceded him in death.
David leaves behind four children, Aaron David Minifield, Jr. of Martinsburg, WV, Casondra Minifield of Falls Church, VA., Brittany Newman of Winchester, VA and Jacob Alsberry also of Winchester, VA.; a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends to grieve his passing.
David's Home Going Service will be12 p.m. February 15th, 2017 at Mt, Carmel Baptist Church 1317 S. Pleasant Valley Road in Winchester, VA., with Rev. Alvin Walker officiating.
The family will received friends Tuesday February 14th 2017 from 6: pm to 8:00 pm at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, VA.
Interment will be Locust Grove Cemetery in Stephens City, VA., with military Honors Afforded by the Winchester VFW Post 2123.
