Evangelist Ada Rebecca Banks
Ada R. Banks, 76 of Winchester, Virginia, died Tuesday December 25, 2007 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia.
She was born September 26, 1931 in Winchester, Virginia the daughter of the late James
Robinson and Ada Tracey Robinson. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Winchester, Virginia. She was also a member of the women PTLA. She was a member
of the Guiding Light Gospel Center in Winchester, Virginia.
She was married to Lewis A. Banks of Winchester.
Surviving with her husband are a daughter, Betty Morgan Washington; three sons, John Marion Morgan, Jr. of Roanoke, Virginia, David Lee Morgan of Hinesville. Ga. And Charles Washington of Winchester, Virginia; two sisters, Emma Ashby and Helen F. Jackson both of Winchester; one brother, Harry Robinson of Detroit, MI; two grandchildren ;one great-grandchild.
Five sisters; Mary V. Scott, Hilda McBlair, Estelle Roberts, Gertrude Taylor, Louise Matthews; and four brothers, Edward Taylor, Bill Robinson, "Bust" Taylor, and Johnathan Taylor all preceded her in death.
Family will receive friends Saturday 2:00 to 4:00 pm December 29, 2007 at the home of Mr. Lewis Banks 513 Gray Ave Winchester, Virginia.
