Annie L. Honeyblue

Annie L. Honeyblue, 94, of Williamston N.C. died Thursday June 25, 2008 at her home.

Mrs. Honeyblue was born August 30, 1913 in BelCross, N.C. the daughter of the late Rev. Reuben R. Cartwright, Sr. and Sarah Martin Cartwright. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Williamston, N.C. where she was the church musician for 40 years. . She was a retired school teacher from the Williamston School System in Williamston, N.C. She was past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star in Williamston, N.C.

She was married to William E. Honeyblue, who preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Joycelyn Honeyblue of Williamston, N.C. and one brother, Myles W. Cartwright of Winchester, Virginia.

Two sisters, Marion Brown and Nola B. Reddick; and six brothers, Dr. Crosby W. Cartwright, Joseph G. Cartwright, Reuben R. Cartwright, Jr., Daniel H. Cartwright Charles W. Cartwright, Sr. and William H. Cartwright all preceded her in death.

Celebration of Life service will be 2:00 pm Sunday June 29, 2008 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Williamston, N.C. with the Rev George Hawkins officiating.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, N.C.

Pallbearers will be members of Shiloh Baptist Church
