Augusta Ann "Gussie" Wilson
Augusta Ann Wilson, 64, of Charles Town, WV, passed away January 14, 2011 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA.
She was born March 22, 1946 in Rippon, WV the daughter of the late Joseph Berry and Marjorie Robinson Berry. She was a Deaconess and member of Sylvannah Praise Worship and Healing Center in Rippon, WV.
She was married to Pastor Lawrence E. Wilson, Jr. of Charles Town, WV, for 44 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Marsha Wilson Johnson of Charles Town, WV; a son, Rev. Donald C. Wilson of Round Hill, VA; one brother, Joseph Walker of Winchester, VA; and seven grandchildren.
A son, Lawrence E. Wilson III; and two sisters, Laura Payton and Michelle Berry preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 am Tuesday January 18, 2011 at New Destiny Ministries in Kearneysville, WV with Elder Berry officiating and Bishop Sterling Porter III bringing the eulogy.
Family will receive friends one hour before service Tuesday January 18, 2011 at the church.
Pallbearers will be Korey Iriby, Christopher Iriby, Brian Byrd, Dorian Clark, Marshon Collins, Rick Chalmers, and Alonzo Butler.
Interment will be at Myerstown Cemetery in Myerstown, WV.
