Benjamin "Benny" Lee Cook
Benjamin L. Cook, 61, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Thursday July 2, 2015 in Berkeley Medical center in Martinsburg, WV. He was born July 26, 1953 in Clarke, Co., the son of the late Josephine Emma May Cook. He was a member of the John Wesley Community Christian Church in Clearbrook, VA.
He leaves to cherish his memory; a sister, Carolyn Mathes of Rising Sun, Indiana; a brother, Charles Henry Cook, Sr., of Clearbrook, VA; his dog, "Mousey", and other relatives and friends.
A son, Jerome "Pooh" Green and brother, Walter Cook both preceded him in death.
A Celebration of life Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 8, 2915 at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, VA., with Elder John Price officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour before service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Jabber Hill Cemetery in Bruce Town, VA.
Donations may be sent to Cartwright Funeral Home 232 E Fairfax Lane Winchester, VA 22601 for the Burial Fund for Benjamin Lee Cook.
