Beulah Catherine Martin
Beulah C. Martin, 92, of Winchester, VA., died on Thursday February 19th 2015
at her home in Winchester, VA.
She was born November 9, 1923 in Winchester, VA., the daughter of Albert F. Martin, Sr. and Blanche Long Martin. She was retired domestic worker. She worked for John and Marjorie Lewis for 30 years. She was a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Winchester, VA.
She leaves to cherish her memories two sons; Randolph N. Martin and Benjamin C. Martin both of Winchester, VA.; two granddaughters, Denise Frisby and Lekisha Martin; three great-grandchildren, Damonte "DJ" Frisby, Keevon Martin and Devanee Frisby and a host of nieces and nephews
Three sisters, Gladys Peyton, Lavinia Campbell and Ramona Tenant; and three brothers, Warren J. Long, Jasper Long and Albert F. Martin, Jr. all preceded her in death.
Celebration of Life Service will be 12:00 noon Wednesday February 25th 2015 at St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Winchester, VA, with Rev. Kevin E. Wilson officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour before service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Marvin Scott, Albert F. Martin III, John W. Martin, Sr., John Martin, Jr., William Banks, Sr., and Clifton Campbell.
Honorary Pallbearers will be William Buckner and David Wilds.
Burial will be in Orrick Cemetery in Winchester, VA.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Cartwright Funeral Home 232 E Fairfax Lane in Winchester, VA 22601, c/o Beulah Martin Burial Fund.
