Bobby Carroll
Cook
March 23, 1960 – June 12, 2026
**In Loving Memory of Bobby Carroll Cook**
It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of
Bobby Carroll Cook; a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend!
Bobby left this world peacefully on June 12, 2026, at the age of 66.
Bobby was born on March 23, 1960, in the town of Front Royal, Virginia.
Bobby was son of the late Bobby C. Jones and Lillian “Ann” (Crittenden)
Cook Morton. When Bobby was 7 months old, his mother Lillian “Ann” (Crittenden)
married Henry Lee Cook, Sr. When Bobby was 1 year old, Henry Lee Cook, Sr. adopted him,
as his son and loved him, as his own.
Bobby is survived by his mother, Lillian “Ann,” 4 sisters: Cindy, Patty, Emily
(William) and Ginger (Blaine) and 1 brother Henry “Lee” Jr. (Lidia); a step-
father, Raymond, and a daughter, Olympia, who he fathered with her
mother, Otellia Lawson. And from his daughter Olympia, Bobby gained 4 grandchildren whom he
loved and treasured deeply!
Bobby is also survived by a host of other dearly loved family and friends!
His grandchildren brought him immense joy in the times he spent with them.
When he visited their home.
Bobby’s beloved pastime was fishing and eating Crabs, Pig Feet,
Chitterlings and cooking his locally renowned “Bread Pudding”!
But Bobby’s greatest joy was being a grandfather to his 4 grandchildren:
Dayna, Omari, Odyssey, and Dessa… who were the light of his life!
(Bobby’s love for) his mom, sisters, brother, nephews, nieces, family,
friends and especially his grandchildren… were unconditional!
Bobby dedicated many years of his life to working for Old Castle Costa, in
Florida, where he was awarded for his work ethic, warm smile, and the
kindness he showed to everyone he met.
Bobby also served his country, the United States of America, as a member
of the Virginia National Guard.
Outside of his family and professional life, Bobby was a member of Mount
Olive Baptist Church, Middletown, VA.
In honoring Bobby’s life, a service will be held 4:00 pm on Tuesday, June 16, 2026,
at the Mount Olive Church, located at 7893 Senseney Ave., Middletown,
VA.
Family and friends will come together to celebrate Bobby’s life, to share
memories, and find solace in the love, joy and faith that was Bobby.
A light meal will begin at 2:30 PM until 3:30 PM of that day, in the church’s
fellowship hall.
Throughout this time, viewing and gathering in the church’s
sanctuary will be open for those who want to spend time with Bobby and
others.
Bobby’s departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew
him, but his spirit will live on through the stories, laughter, and love that he
leaves behind.
As we say so long… we remember a man who cherished his family and
friends, who embraced life’s simple pleasures, and who left an indelible
mark on everyone he met. His warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will be
deeply missed but never forgotten.
May Bobby rest in eternal peace, wrapped in the arms of his Heavenly
Father, reunited with those who preceded him in death, and awaits the
Eternal Home Coming, for all those with saving faith in JESUS!
