Brother Raymond "Boozel" Blowe, Jr.

Brother Raymond Blowe, Jr., 69, of Winchester, VA, went to be with the Lord on May 3, 2011 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA

He was born February 21, 1942 in Winchester, VA the son of the late Raymond Blowe, Sr. and Viola Finley Blowe. He was a member of the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob. He worked for the Winchester Star for 40 years. He also was an Army veteran and served
during the Vietnam conflict.

He was married to Elderess Carole Jane Bowie Blowe of Winchester, VA for 41 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory with his wife,; three children, Bobbi J. Peck of Richmond, VA, Robert T. Peck, Jr. of Winchester, VA, Lisa Jackson of Petersburg, VA; three sisters,
Elderess Arlene Stephenson (Elder Dabney) of Winchester, VA, Deaconess Maxzine Brown of Winchester VA and Violet Laws (John Henry) of Winchester; one brother James Howard Blowe, Sr. of Winchester, VA; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A son, Raymond Samuel Blowe and a brother, Leslie Blowe both preceded him in death.

A celebration of life service will be held Monday, May 9, 2011 at 11 am at the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob in Winchester, VA. With Adv. Pres. Elder Clarence H. Miller
and Pres. Elder David Thomas III.

Family will receive friends 4:00 to 6:00 pm Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, VA.

Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park in Winchester, VA. with
Military Honors Afforded by Winchester VFW Post # 2123.
