Charles R. "Booty" Jackson
Charles R. Jackson, 67, of Winchester, VA, went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2011 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA.
He was born March 17, 1944 in Winchester, VA the son of the late Charles Robert Brown and Sadie Jackson. He was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Winchester, VA, where he served in the Men's Ministry.
He leaves to cherish his memory; a son Kyle Jackson of Fort Wainwright, Alaska; four sisters, Dianne Jackson of Eustis, Florida, Charlotte Anderson of Martinsburg, WV, Mary Hoes of Charles Town, WV and Pamela Hawkins ; three brothers, Charles Brown, Jr. of New York , Sherman Brown of Atlanta, Ga, and Martin Brown of Martinsburg, WV; and four grandchildren.
Two sisters, Martha Jackson and Marion Jackson both preceded him in death.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held Friday, May 13, 2011 at 11 am at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Winchester, VA, with Pastor Gilbert Mack, Jr. officiating and Pastor Alan Watkins delivering the Eulogy.
Inurnment will be private at a later date.
