Charles Stanley Long, Sr.

Charles Stanley Long, Sr.,75, of Stephens City, Va., died on Friday August 25, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA.

He was born on July 5, 1942 the son of the late Lewis G. Long, Sr. and Hallie V. Cary Long of Winchester, VA.

He was married to Sandra J. Rickard of Stephens City, VA.

Surviving with his wife and mother; three daughters, Paulette Long, Theresa Long both of Middletown, and Nanette Tinsley of Greenbelt, MD; three sons, Charles Stanley Long Jr. of Winchester, VA, Duron Long and Brett Long both of Stephens City, VA.; two sisters, Chris Elliott of Wilmington, MS and Debbie Doleman of Berryville, VA.; three brothers, Herman Long, Lewis Long, Jr. and Cary Long both of Winchester, VA.; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

Two brothers, Roy long and Robert Long preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Winchester, VA.,
with Rev. Kevin Wilson officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour before service at the church.

Family also will receive friends Wednesday August 30, 2017, 7:00-8:30 pm at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, VA.,

Interment will be at Shenandoah Memorial Park in Winchester, VA.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
