Charles Henry "Skeet" Walker

Charles Henry Walker, 58, of Winchester, VA passed away on Tuesday, February 2nd 2016 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA.

He was born July 23, 1957 in Winchester, VA to the late Frances Virginia Wood Walker and Chuck Walker.

He attended schools in Fauquier County, VA. Worked for the Club Run Construction in Alexandria, VA and was self-employed before becoming disabled. He attended church at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Boyce, VA.

He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Silver of Sterling, VA; three sisters, Helen Ford (Leycon) of Winchester, VA, Mary Walker of Charlotte, NC., and Chrystal Walker of Clarksburg, MD.; one brother, Eddy Glover (Cheryl) Jessup, MD.; his long-time companion (Roxanne Funk and children, Rick Funk, Jamie Funk and Philip Burns) all of Winchester, VA.; step-mother, Gladys Walker of Winchester, VA; one aunt Mary Rush of Winchester, VA; one uncle, Raymond Wood of Winchester, VA; one niece, five nephews and a host of cousins.

Preceding him in death was his brother Edward "Porky" Walker.

A Memorial service will be at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, VA on Saturday, February 20th 2016 at 11:00 am with Bishop Dr. Alphonse Ford officiating. A repast will follow the service at the Elks on Kent Street in Winchester, VA.
