Charlotte Virginia "Gin" Berger

Charlotte Virginia Berger, 74, of Winchester, VA., died on Monday June 20, 2016 at her home in Winchester, VA. She was born January 25, 1942 in Stephens City, VA., the daughter of the late Shirley Corley and Hester Humbert. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Winchester, VA, where she was a member of the Missionary and Usher Ministry.

She was married to Julian K. Berger, Jr.

Surviving with her husband are three daughters; G. Annette Finley (Donald), Serena Davenport and Kelly Hairston (Steve) and one son, Julian K. Berger III (Elizabeth) all of Winchester, VA.; three sisters, Roberta Holness, Dorothy Ricketts and Elaine Spence all of Winchester, VA.; two brothers, Charles (Patricia) Corley of Strasburg, VA and Allen (Frances) Corley of Woodstock, VA.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

One sister, Joann Frye (Walter) preceded her in death.

A Celebration of Life service will be Monday June 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Winchester, VA., with Dr. Gilbert M. Mack, Jr. bringing the Eulogy.

Family will receive friends Monday June 27th 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the church.

Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery in Stephens City, VA.
