Doris M. Liggins

Doris M. Liggins, 92, of Berryville, VA went home to be with the Lord Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center in Winchester, VA.

She was born April 4, 1924 in Clarke County, VA to the late Robert and Frances Hall Liggins.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a sister, Frances Liggins of Berryville, VA. Her children, Deborah
Liggins, Marietta Clarke, and Kenneth Liggins of Berryville, VA, and Joan Banks (Arty) of Stephens City, VA. Her honorary children, Sandra Nichols, Brenda Whitmore, Shirley Morgan, Robert Liggins,
Curtis Liggins and Kevin Liggins; Six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild and host of nieces and nephews.

Her siblings, Emma Mills, Robert, Charles, Samuel, Douglas, James,
Frank, Elizabeth, and William Liggins, and honorary daughter, Jacqueline L. Carter, all preceded her in death.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017
at Zion Baptist Church, Berryville, VA at 12 p.m.

A viewing will be one hour before service at the church.

Interment will be in Milton Valley Cemetery in Berryville, VA.

In lieu of flowers send donations to Blue Ridge Hospice at 333 West Cork Street in Winchester, VA.
