Douglas W. Jackson, 80, Arlington, Virginia, formerly of Winchester, Virginia died Wednesday February 6, 2008 at Potomac Center in Arlington, VA.
Mr. Jackson was born August 24, 1927 in Winchester, Virginia the son of the late Louis Franklin Jackson and Margaret Clifford Jackson. He was a retired cook from the Winchester Medical Center. He was a member of the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob in Winchester, Virginia. He was a member of Daniel J. Farrar Lodge # 458
He was married to Della Doleman Jackson who preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory two stepdaughters, Ada Butler of Winchester and Ruth Silver of Clearbrook; a step son, James Butler of North Carolina; a sister, Mamie Washington of Arizona; two step-grandchildren and three step-great-grant children.
Two brothers Herman Irvin Jackson and Louis Jackson preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday February 13, 2008 at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, Virginia with Adv Pres. Elder Clarence Miller officiating.
Inurnment will be in Orrick Cemetery in Winchester, Virginia at a later dated.
