Douglas "Dave" L. Davis
Douglas L. Davis, 72, of Winchester, Virginia died Thursday February 28, 2008.
Mr. Davis was born January 1, 1936 in Richmond, Virginia the son of the late John T. Davis and Cora Braxton Davis. He was a United States Army veteran.
He was married to Lottie Moore Davis of Winchester, Virginia for 21 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory with his wife three stepdaughters, Carolyn Jackson Yvonne Turner, and Angelica Foreman all of Winchester, Virginia; one step son, Angelo Jackson of Winchester, Virginia; two sisters, Inez Eason and Katherine Davis both of Richmond, Virginia; two brothers, John Davis, Jr. of Richmond, Virginia and George Davis of Waterbury, Connecticut; seventeen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
One step son, Frank Jackson, Jr. preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday March 5, 2008 at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, Virginia with Pastor Gilbert M. Mack, Jr. officiating.
Family will receive friend Wednesday March 5, 2008 one hour before service at the funeral home.
