Edna Malinda (Paige) Williams
Edna Paige Williams, 77, of Berryville, Virginia departed this earth on Thursday, December 10, 2009 after a battle with her illness.
She was born on January 19, 1932 in Clarke County the daughter of the late John Robert Boss and Helen Virginia Paige.
She lived in Berryville, VA where she attended school and was a very active individual throughout the community where she was loved by all she came in contact with.
She was a faithful member of Zion Baptist Church on Josephine Street where she joined at an early age until she was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Edna was a member of the Senior Usher Board, Missionary Ministry and the Gospel Tones. Edna was a wife to Moses Williams for twenty years, before he preceded her in death and a caring and loving mother to one son, Frank Ellis Paige, Sr.
Survivors are her son, Frank Ellis Paige, Sr. of Berryville, VA; grandchildren Sherry White (Anthony) of Bowie, MD; Tina Paige of Winchester, VA; Frank Ellis Paige, Jr. (Jenny) of Stephens City, VA; Dale Underwood (Tracy) of Charles Town, WV; Eric Jackson (Sandra) of Pennsylvania and Yolanda Williams of Martinsburg, WV; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; her aunts Thelma Paige,Alice Paige, Margretta Wilson and Rosie Brown all of Berryville, VA; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
One brother John Robert Boss preceded her in death.
A celebration of life will be at 11:00 am Tuesday December 15, 2009 at Zion Baptist church in Berryville, VA. with the Rev Lawrence Wilson officiating and Rev. Anthony R. White will be the Eulogist.
Family will receive friends from 9:00 am to 10:45 before service at the church.
Interment will be in Milton Valley Cemetery in Berryville, Virginia.
