Edward Arthur Sanford
Edward A. Sanford, 65, of Winchester, VA passed away on Wednesday, March 2nd 2016 at his home in Winchester, VA.

He was a United States Marine Veteran.

He was born March 24, 1950 in Leesburg, VA to the late Arthur William Sanford and Ruby Lucas Sanford of Sterling, VA.

He was married to Barbara Brooks Sanford of Winchester, VA.

He is survived by his wife and mother; three daughters, Karen Lincoln of Jefferson Co., WV, Cynthia Sanford of Winchester, VA., and Katrina Sanford (Iman) of College Park, MD; two sons, Edward Sanford II and Daniel Jackson (Anna) both of Winchester; two sisters, Paulette V. Taylor of Tampa, Florida and Robin E. Sanford of Hamilton, VA; two aunts, Frances and Pearl Lucas of Leesburg;' a uncle, Fred Lucas of Ransom, WV; a host of relatives and friends.

He also leaves his loyal pets, Rocky and Gizmo.

Preceding him in death was his sisters, Terry Sanford Huff.

A Memorial service will be at St. Stephens C.M.E. Church at 202 Maple Street Winchester, VA., on Monday March 7th 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev Bryan E Edwards officiating.

Military Honors afforded by the United States Marines and the Winchester VFW post # 2123 at the church following the service.
