Elsie Marie "Papoose" Williams
Elsie M. Williams, 74, of Millwood, Virginia died Tuesday October 3, 2006 at Rose Hill Nursing Home in Berryville, Virginia
Mrs. Williams was born March 9, 1932 in Washington, DC the daughter of Virgil Ellis and Bessie Ellis Roberts. She was member of Guilfield Baptist Church in Millwood, Virginia.
She was married to John Nathaniel Williams who preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, John Bruce Cook, Jr. of Boyce, Virginia and Todd Nathaniel Williams of Inwood, WV.; three daughters, Mary Constance Cook and Faith Myray Jones both of Winchester, Virginia, and Andrea Marie Smith of Berryville, Virginia; two sisters, Edna Marshall of Boyce, Virginia and Florence Stewart of Winchester, Virginia; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
One son, Leslie L. Cook and a brother, Lewis Johnson both preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 12:00 pm Saturday October 7, 2006 at Guilfield Baptist Church in Millwood, Virginia the Rev. Harold E. Brown officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour before service at the church.
Burial will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park Winchester, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
