Emma Dabney Jefferson
Emma Dabney Jefferson, 91, of Winchester, VA formerly of Napoleonville, LA passed peacefully away Thursday January 28, 2010 at Envoy Health & Rehab in Winchester, Virginia.
Mrs. Jefferson was born November 12, 1918 to Franklin Dabney and Martha Gray Dabney. and lived most of her life in Assumption Parish Louisiana She was one of 15 children. She was a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church in Napoleonville, LA and a watch care member at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Winchester, VA.
She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Lillian R. Miller and Louise R. Oliver both of New Orleans, LA., and Patricia J. Williams of Winchester, VA.; one sister, Helen D. Gorden of New Orleans, LA.; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren; a devoted son-in-law Barry Williams of Winchester, VA.
Family will receive friends Tuesday February 2, 2010 from 7 to 8:30 pm at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Winchester, Virginia.
A Celebration of Life will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday February 6, 2010 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Napoleonville, LA.
Interment will be in Woodlawn United Methodist Church Cemetery in Napoleonville, LA
