Ernest A. "Sonny" Miller
Ernest A. Miller, 77, of Winchester, Virginia formerly of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica died Monday September 18, 2006 at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia.
Mr. Miller was born April 24, 1929 in St. Elizabeth Jamaica, W.I. the son of the late
Arnold Miller and Eliza Powell Miller.
He was married to Adina Allen Miller
He leaves to cherish his memory with his wife, eight sons, Keith Miller, Audley Miller, Keeling Miller, Jeremiah " Prince" Miller, Kenneth Miller, Anthony "Khani" Miller, Sanchez Miller, and Omar Miller all of Jamaica; three daughters, Carolyn "Cherry" Miller of England, Cynthia Miller of Brooklyn, NY and Althea Miller of Jamaica; one stepson Chester Peart of Jamaica; one sister Hyacinth Henry of England; three brothers, Samuel Miller and Hubert Miller both of Jamaica, and Steven Miller of England; thirty-eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Three sisters, Loretta Miller, Gertrude Dennis, Catherine Wint; three brothers, Edward Miller, Felix Miller, and Benjamin Miller all preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 7:00 pm Monday September 25, 2006 at Cartwright Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Clindisnt and Rev. Elizabeth Frye officiating.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home 1:00 to 4:00 pm and family will receive friends one hour before service on Monday.
Burial will be in the family plot in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica.
