Esline Farquharson

Esline Farquharson, 71, of Winchester, Virginia died Monday August 11, 2008 at Blue Ridge Hospice in Winchester, Virginia.

Mrs. Farquharson was born January 24, 1937 in Troy Trelawny, Jamaica the daughter of the late Edward Farquharson and Rhoda Brown Farquharson. She was a member of the Faith Temple Church in Kingston, Jamaica

She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Smith of Winchester, Virginia; four sons, Develin Winkle, Devon Wrinkle, and Paul Winkle all of Jamaica, and Keith Winkle of Canada; three sisters, Sylvia Gale of Jamaica, Lucille Farquharson of Canada, and Beryl Farquharson of Cape Town South Africa; five brothers, Norman Farquharson and Emmanuel Farquharson both of Jamaica, Clifford Farquharson of Winchester, Virginia, Calvin Farquharson of Canada; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

One brother, Ivan Farquharson preceded her in death.

A celebration of life will be 11:00 am August 16, 2008 at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, Virginia with the Pastor Delbert Hicks officiating.

Interment will be in Charles "Buster" Jackson Community Cemetery in White Post, Virginia.

Family will receive friends one hour before service Saturday August 16, 2008 at the church.

Friends may call from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Friday August 15, 2008 at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, Virginia.
