Ethel Wilds Wheeler
Ethel Wilds Wheeler, 84, of Winchester, VA, entered eternal rest Sunday February 5, 2012 at Blue Ridge Hospice Center in Winchester, VA.
Mrs. Wheeler was born October 8, 1927 in Hartsville, S.C., the daughter of the late Earley Wilds, Sr. and Ethel Pettigrew Wilds. She was a retired school teacher from the Winchester Public Schools. She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist in Winchester, VA. , Order of Eastern Star Mount Rona OES 233, Founder/CEO Concerned Citizens Scholarship Fund, Douglas Alumni Association, and a member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority
Her memories will be cherished by her daughter, Tanya Wheeler of Winchester, VA.
Four brothers, Moses A. Wilds, Sr., Freddie Wilds, Sr., Earley Wilds, Jr. and George Wilds, Sr. all preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday February 11, 2012 at Market Street United Methodist Church in Winchester, VA with Rev James Johnson officiating and Rev Joe Fowlkes bringing the eulogy.
Family will receive friends Saturday February 11, 2012 one hour before service at the church.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Hartsville, S.C.
