Etta "Bun" Frances Morgan Ball

Etta Frances Morgan Ball passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2018 peacefully at home.

She was born August 20, 1931 in Opequon, VA., the daughter of the late Harry Wilson Morgan and Mary Ellen Ball Morgan.

She attended school in Stephens City, VA and Winchester, VA. She was married to the late Jessee Lee Ball of Winchester. She worked for the Holiday Inn for several years.

Etta was an avid member of St. Stephens CME Church in Winchester, where she served in the choir and on the Stewardess Board. She was passionate about her family, singing, crossword puzzles, cooking, and serving her church.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Anita Morgan of Winchester, 4 grandchildren, Shawnta Ball of Harrisburg, PA, April Ball of Hagerstown, MD, Shanita Morgan and Shanquetta Butler, both of Winchester, a sister-in-law, Hilda Morgan, brother-in-law, John Ball, Sr., brother-in-law Raymond Wood, 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, who all love and will miss her dearly.

Her son, Terrance Ball, three brothers, Alonzo Ball, Samuel Ball, and Clarence Morgan, three sisters, Gertrude Cain, Mary Virginia Ball, and Shirley Wood, and great-grandson, Kyson Morgan, all preceded her in death.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, December 17, 2018 at St. Stephens CME Church in Winchester, VA., with the Pastor Rev. Bryan Edwards officiating the service.

Family will receive friends on Monday December 17, 2018 one hour before service at St Stephens.

Committal and Interment will be in Orrick Cemetery in Winchester.
