Exford Hugh "Gray Beard" Ricketts

Exford Hugh Ricketts, 61, of Winchester, Virginia died February 5, 2009 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia.
Mr. Ricketts was born June 8, 1947 in Hanover , Jamaica the son of the late Standford Ricketts and Elzada McIntosh. He was a member of the Winchester Church of God in Winchester, Virginia.
He was married to Dorothy Corley Rickets of Winchester, Virginia for 25 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Roberts Ricketts of Jamaica and Samuel K. Jackson of Surprise, Arizona; one daughter, Tina Jackson Moore of New Jersey; four sisters, Valery Ricketts Shakes of Montreal Canada, Bishop Eileen McIntosh and Evelyn Cox both of Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Carol Walker of Grand Cayman Island; two brothers, Standford Ricketts and Claude Ricketts both of Jamaica; four grandchildren, Toray Ricketts and Rolando Ricketts both of Jamaica and Usheda Jackson and Keith Jackson both of New Jersey.

A Celebration of Life will be Monday February 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Winchester, Virginia Pastor Gilbert M. Mack officiating.

Family will receive friends 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday February 8, 2009 at the church.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery in Stephens City, Virginia
