Florence Elizabeth Baine
Florence E. Baine, 75, of Winchester, Virginia died Wednesday March 11, 2009 in Winchester, Virginia at Ruxton Health of Winchester.
Mrs. Baine was born September 16, 1933 in Vanceboro, N.C. the daughter of the late Benny Howard and Joanna Heath Howard. She was a member of Union Baptist Church in Stamford, Conn. She was also a past member of the Eastern Star Dorcas Chapter # 14.
She was married to Frank Nelson "Kojak" Baine of Winchester, Virginia for 43 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory with her husband; a daughter, Kym Sanders Thompson (Eric) of Winchester, Virginia; two sisters, Pearlie Mae Steedley of Stamford, Conn. And Virginia Willoughby of Vanceboro, N.C.; two grandchildren, Maya Elizabeth Sanders and Maxwell Mekhi Thompson both of Winchester
One sister, Lainey Howard and two brothers, William Dove and Theodore Howard all preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life will be Monday March 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Winchester, Virginia with Pastor Gilbert M. Mack, Jr. officiating.
Family will received friends one hour before service at the church.
Inurnment will be at a later date.
