Frances Marie Mullins

Francis Mullins, 75, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025. Born on April 16, 1949, in Petersburg, West Virginia, she lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, and deep love for her family.

Francis was known for her warm heart and humorous spirit. She spent many years working at Goodwill, where she became a beloved presence to both coworkers and customers alike. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to lend a listening ear made her a cherished part of the community. Whether helping someone find what they needed or simply offering a kind word, Francis brought comfort and joy to those around her.

She found great joy in simple pleasures—spending time with flowers, solving crossword puzzles and Sudoku, and working through jigsaw puzzles. These quiet pastimes reflected her thoughtful nature and love for peaceful moments. But above all else, Francis treasured time with her family. She was a devoted mother who took immense pride in all those who loved her and found endless delight in the lives of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Francis is survived by her sisters Wanda Stiles and Nelda Ours; daughter Amanda Rogers; sons Jeff Moyers, Brad Moyers, and Brent Moyers; grandchildren Stephanie Dean, Tyler Smith, Emmy Moyers; great-grandchildren Dyavean Sloane, Donyell Sloane, Danaya Jackson, Braidyn Dean, Tyzell Jackson, Anthony Dean, Dayana Jackson, Emmanuel Dean, Emilia Dean, Thelicia Moyers, Camryrn Moyers, Alecktra Moyers, and Autumn Moyers and great-great-grandchildren Faylee Ayala and Kylo Ayala. Followed by many others.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Aulburn Mullins; her brother Pete Moyers; her sister Shirley Moyers; and her grandaughters Jessica Jackson and Hope Moyers.

Francis's legacy is one of unconditional love for her family. She never judged others and always made people feel seen and heard. Her home was a place of warmth where family gathered often—sharing stories, laughter, meals, and memories that will be cherished for generations.

May the memory of Francis Mullins bring comfort, peace, and love to all who knew her.
