Gary Zion Key
Gary Zion Key, 4 of Winchester died Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the Blue Ridge Hospice care unit after a courageous battle with cancer.
Gary was born February 10, 2007 to Nikco Turner in Opacola, Florida. He will be greatly missed by his loving parents Barbara and Tony Beckford of Winchester, VA; a sister, Brittnay Turner; and a brother Javaris Turner both of Winchester, VA; Uncle Clint Cook,Uncle David Chislom Aunt Brenda Lindsay,Aunt Sharon Lindsay, cousins Christine & Janice Lindsay , and "grandparents" Ron & Cherie Lauck. Gary attended Fremont Street Nursery, SonShine Preschool,
and Apple Country Head Start.
Family, friends, and teachers will remember Gary's beautiful smile, mischievous grin, and contagious laugh. Gary loved to dance and play Power Rangers with his sister and brother.
Family will receive friends Wednesday evening at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, VA from 7-9 p.m. A funeral will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church in Winchester, VA on Thursday at 11:00 am, with Pastor John Manning of 'Another Chance Church in Winchester, VA' officiating.
Pallbearers will be Tony Beckford, Clint Cook, Kia Creamer, and Ron Lauck.
Burial will be at Jabber Hill in Brucetown. Following burial there will be a time of fellowship at Bethel Lutheran Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cartwright Funeral Home, 232 E. Fairfax Lane, Winchester, VA 22601 for the Gary Key Funeral Fund.
