Elder George Edward Crittenden

Elder George E. Crittenden of Winchester, VA departed this life on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 14, 1923 in Charleston, WVA to the late Bessie Williams and Hugh Crittenden.

Elder George Crittenden retired from Capitol Records. He was a member and ordained Elder of The Supreme Council of the House of Jacob where he faithfully served the Lord.

Elder George Crittenden leaves to cherish his memory, two sons; George Crittenden (Brenda) of North Carolina, Senior Deacon William Crittenden (Helena) of Winchester, VA.; three daughters, Sister Margaret Harper (Norman), Eldress Wanda Jett (Henry), Eldress Nancy Grimes (Edward) all of Winchester, VA.; George has 25 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary G. Crittenden, one son George Hamilton, one daughter Marilyn Wilson (Joseph), and a great grandson Quentin Blowe; sisters, Henrietta Gary, Margaret Williams, Lillian Smart and brothers Hugh Crittenden Sr., Minor Crittenden and William Crittenden.

A celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday October 4th 2016 at the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob.

Family will receive friends one hour before service at the church.
