George Garner Turner, Jr.

George Garner Turner, Jr., 87, of Middleburg, VA., passed Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Blue Ridge Hospice Center in Winchester, VA.

George, aka "Garner" was born October 19, 1930 in Middleburg, VA., the son of the late George Griffin Turner, Sr.  and Julia Brown Turner.

He was married for 58 years to the late Lula Bell Turner of Middleburg.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Julie Turner Ford Ennis (Philip) of Columbia, PA; two grandchildren Anthony Cristian Ford of Arlington VA and Rachelle Dionne Ford of Reston, VA: one great-grandchild, Desiree Alexa McKan of Sterling, VA; two brothers Charles Turner (Janet)of Manassas, VA and Maurice Turner of Southampton County, VA and other relatives and friends.

A brother Burkley Turner and a sister Christella Turner preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church 1175 Delaplane Grade Road Upperville, VA., with Rev.  Phillip Lewis officiating.

A viewing will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon.

Interment will be in West View Cemetery in Upperville, VA.
