Hannah Barbara Scott
Hannah B. Scott, 86, of Winchester, Virginia, died on November 17, 2013 at her home in Winchester, VA.
She was born June 21, 1927 in Winchester, VA., the daughter of the late George D. Cary and Mamie Thomas Cary.
She is survived by a daughter, Carletta B. Cary; two sisters, Hallie V. Long and Gladys K. Walker both of Winchester, VA.; one granddaughter, Thea C. Cary; one great-grandson, Ayat Jones both of Winchester, VA.; and several nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
Four sisters, Alice Cary, Virginia Henderson, Eleanora Brisco and Gertrude Smith; and one brother, George Cary all preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday November 22, 2013 at St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Winchester, VA., with Pastor Kevin E Wilson officiating.
Family will receive friends 7:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday November 21, 2013 at the church.
Inurnment will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be sent to the Hannah B. Scott burial fund in c/o of Cartwright Funeral Home 232 East Fairfax Lane Winchester, VA. 22601.
