Helen Virginia Walker

January 10,1951 - March 25, 2024

Helen Virginia Walker, 73, of Winchester, VA, departed this life peacefully Monday, March 25th at Winchester Medical Center, in Winchester, VA.

Helen, affectionately known as (Baby Helen) was born January 10,1951, daughter of the late Sallie Jackson Roberts and Walter Roberts.

She leaves to cherish her memory; one daughter, Orprah Wilcox, a special son-In-law, Raymond Corley, one sister Melva Jackson (Michael) of Ft Washington Md, one brother David Roberts of Washington DC, a special big sister, Mariah Bates of Winchester Va, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Michele A Corley, her son Raymond C Wilcox, 4 sisters; Charlotte Curry, Louise Yerby, Delores Roberts, and Shirley Henry; 5 Brothers Walter, Melvin, Charles, Mark, and James Roberts.

The family would like to thank the staff at Evergreen Nursing Facility for all the love and care they gave her, beyond their job descriptions. Thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at Winchester Medical Center, for all their care.

Helen was truly loved by all whom she came across in her life. She Will Be missed dearly.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday on April 6th, 2024, at Cartwright Funeral Home, 232 East Fairfax Lane Winchester, Va., by Minister Michael Jackson of Ft. Washington, MD.

Viewing from 10-11 am. at Cartwright Funeral Home. Service will be at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home.
