James Walter Mack

July 8, 1981 – March 16, 2021

James (Jimmy) Walter Mack was born on July 8, 1981 in Omaha, NE. He was the fourth of five children of James L. Mack, Jr. James was educated in the Bellevue Public School System where he met many of his childhood friends and lived until moving to Winchester, VA in 2012. James was a gifted athlete in playing baseball and running track. His true passion was his children, whom he spoke about very much to his family and friends.

He had many different jobs, but found his final employment with Kraft Foods in Winchester, VA. He was so proud to have finally found a job where he could make a difference for himself and his kids.

During his childhood, James and his siblings were raised by their father as a single parent, most of his life and made sure that he and his siblings had a good home and visited often with their grandparents in Philadelphia, PA before their death. James had his first child Madalyn Marie Binkerd with Shannon Binkerd in Bellevue, NE, he had two boys Justin James and Connor Lee Mack with Ashley Rice in Omaha, NE and his last three children Brynlee Renee Mack and (twins) Carson Wayne and Easton Danie Mack with Kelli Lindquist in Winchester, VA.

James had a love for the Philadelphia sports. You would catch him always watching either a Flyers or Eagles game, and he made sure he always wore his jerseys when they played. He played baseball as youth with his brother Nicholas, as well as soccer. During his high school year, he found out how much he loved running and was good at the one and three miler, 800 meters and Cross-Country running. One time he ran the mile in under 4 minutes and his former high school coach said, "I was wondering when you were going to really run." The best run I remember seeing him perform in, was when he and his brother Nick ran the 4 X 4 relay and James got to take the baton from his brother and they kicked butt.

James leaves to cherish his memory his father James and step-mother JoAnne Shannon-Mack, his daughters Madalyn and Brynlee, sons Justin, Connor, Carson and Easton.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents James Sr. & Essie Mack, uncles Benny and Johnny.

He is survived by his brothers Robert and Nicholas, sisters Mialien and Morgan, his nephews Arius, Julian, Nigel and his niece Sierra as well as aunts and cousins. A host of family, friends and colleagues will miss him dearly.

A Funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday March 22, 2021 at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, Virginia. Visitation will be one hour before service at the funeral home.

We will be following CDC guideline and Mask must be worn.
