James Marshall Smith, 67, of Winchester, Va., died Saturday, April 23, 2022, at his home in Winchester, Va.

He was born on November 8, 1954, in Winchester, Va., to the late John Matthew Smith and Lena Mae Beamer Smith.

Surviving is a son, Maurice Lavender of Winchester, Va., four brothers; Joseph Robert Smith (Jennie) of Atlanta, Ga., Wesley Allen Smith of Winchester, Va., Reginald Lee Smith of Animas, NM, and Anthony Carroll Smith of Anchorage, AK.; three sisters 😉 Goldie Virginia Whitmore of San Antonio, TX., Anna Marie Smith (Mike) of Front Royal, VA., and Sandra Dee Jacobs (Joe) of Kearneysville, WV.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Gwendolyn Davis and Elsie Hogan

A Memorial Service and Inurnment will be held at a later date.
