Jerome "Jay" Dawson Curry
Jerome D. Curry, 56, of Carterville, Georgia, formerly of Winchester, Virginia died Sunday April 26, 2009 at Heartland Hospice in Carterville, Georgia.
Mr. Curry was born September 4, 1952 in Winchester, Virginia the son of the late Mabel Curry Warren and James D. Warren.
He was married to Carla Curry of Carterville, Georgia.
Surviving with his wife are; 3 step children; five daughters, Mable Curry Jewell of Winchester, Virginia, Loretta Curry of Pottesville, PA, Lynn Curry, Jackie Curry, and Tina Curry all of Danville, Virginia; one son Jerome Curry, Jr. of Pottesville, PA; six sisters, Jackie Cain of Middletown, Virginia, Lynn Warren of Hampton, Virginia, Tinya Porter of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Carmen Ingram of Martinsburg, WV, Toni Richards of Moorefield, WV., and Tiffany Richards of Winchester, Virginia; two brothers Duane Warren of Woodbridge, Virginia and Aaron Warren of Upper Marlboro, MD.; 10 grandchildren; one great Uncle, Jesse Curry; one aunt Audrey Jackson of Harrisburg, PA, and one uncle Edward Curry of Stephens City, Virginia.
His maternal grandparents, Henry and Catherine Curry preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be 12:00 pm Saturday May 9, 2009 at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, Virginia with Minister Kevin Jackson and Minister Kaylor Jackson officiating
