Jerry E. Long, 56, of Winchester, VA, passed away February 9, 2012 at his home in Winchester, VA.
He was born December 12, 1955 in Winchester, VA the son of the late Louis Long and Goldie Carter Long. Jerry loved jazz music, a good cigar, and kids.
Surviving are six brothers, Dwayne O. Long, Jonathan Long, Stanley Carey, Robert Long, Sr., Cary long, Herman Long all of Winchester, VA; and several nephews and nieces and cousins.
A sister, Angie Long and brother Roy Long preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday February 16, 2012 at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, VA with Min. James Dokes officiating.
Family will receive friends Thursday February 16, 2012 one hour before service at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be in Charles "Buster" Jackson Community Cemetery in White Post, VA.
