John “Jay” Ole Christensen

      March 30, 1962- July 30, 2026

John “Jay” Ole Christensen,64 of Stephens City

VA., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July

30, 2026, while at Blue Ridge Care.

He was born March 30, 1962, in Philip

South Dakota to parents John Ole and

Nancy Lee Christensen.

Jay is survived by his mother, Nancy; son Eric Christensen, and

daughter-in-law, Angel; daughter Carley and

son-in-law, Dan Dunlap, six grandchildren

and five siblings.

Jay was a graduate of Automotive Technical College in

1. Paoli, Pennsylvania, and spent his career as an automotive and

maintenance mechanic and all-around tinkerer. He most

recently worked at Shenandoah University.

A memorial service is scheduled for August 17, 2026, at Abundant Life Church,

700 Aylor Rd, Stephens City at 3:00 pm followed by a family and

friends gathering.
