John Randolph Cooper,Jr.
John R. Cooper, Jr., 72, of Clarke County, Virginia died Tuesday August 12, 2008 at his home in Winchester, Virginia.
Mr. Cooper was born November 1, 1935 in Clarke County, Virginia the son of the late John R. Cooper, Sr. and Fleda Barnett Cooper of Winchester, Virginia. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He worked and retired from Crown Cork and Seal Company in Winchester, Virginia.
He is survived by his mother, Fleda Barnett Cooper of Winchester, Virginia; two sisters; Rosetta E. Cooper of Queens, N.Y. and Georgia C. Everett of Bronx, N.Y.; three brothers, William E. Cooper and Fred L. Cooper both of Winchester, Virginia, and David R. Cooper of Rhode Island.
One brother, Harry F. Cooper preceded him in death.
A celebration of life will be 4:00 pm Sunday August 17, 2008 at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, Virginia with Pastor George Jones officiating.
Family will receive friends Sunday August 17, 2008 one hour before service at the funeral home.
Interment will be Monday August 18, 2008 at 10:00 am in Locust Grove Cemetery in Franklintown, WV.
