Josephine Elizabeth Reid

Josephine E. Reid, 94 departed this life on January 21, 2017 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home and Rehab center in Leesburg, VA. She was born September 19th 1922 in Delaplane VA., the daughter of the late Thomas and Cordelia Bundy Turner. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Upperville, VA where she served on the Usher Board, Missionary and Culinary Committee.
She was married to James M. Reid, who preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Dorothy (Richard) Robinson; one son, Richard Turner; 6 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

One son, Joseph Turner; four sisters, Ella Parker, Marie Grayson, Viola Turner, Lilly Holmes; three brothers, Thomas E. Turner, Sr. and Thurston Turner and Linier Turner, all preceded her in death.

A Celebration of Life will be at 11 a.m., Friday January 27, 2017 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Upperville, VA., with Rev. Philip Lewis officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before service at the church.

Interment will be in West View Cemetery in Upperville, VA.
