Joyce Sonja Mae Washington Fairclough, 67, of Winchester, Virginia died Saturday June 13, 2009 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia.
Mrs. Fairclough was born October 30, 1941 in Front Royal, Virginia. She was the daughter of Harold Fletcher and Gertrude Washington.
She was married to Garrett Fairclough of Avon Park, Florida
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Anthony O. Washington of Stephens City, Virginia and Kenneth L. Washington of Winchester, Virginia; one daughter, Jabare L. Fairclough of Winchester, Virginia; two sisters, Irene Lewis of Fredericksburg, Virginia and Dorothy Randolph of Woodstock, Virginia; two brothers, Harold Washington of Fairfax, Virginia and Ernest Washington of Orange, Virginia; one granddaughter, Aisha Joya Goulbourn of Winchester, Virginia.
A Celebration of Life will be Friday June 19, 2009 at 12:00 a.m. at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, Virginia with Pastor Trenton O. Daniel
Interment will be in at Shenandoah Memorial Park in Winchester, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
