Keith J. King, 59, of Winchester, VA., transitioned from this life on July 5, 2016 at his home in Winchester, VA.

He was born December 20,1956 in Front Royal, VA to Margaret L. King of Luray, VA and the late Robert F. King, Sr. He worked for the department of Behavioral Health and Development for the Commonwealth of Virginia as a senior licensing specialist.

He married Inez V. Johnson on August 6, 1988.

Keith is survived by his wife of 28 years; two brothers, Kenneth W. King of Charles Town, WV, and Robert F. King, Jr., (Marilyn) of Baltimore, MD; one sister, Karen Morgan of Luray, VA; one son Brian C. Johnson, Sr.(Joanna) of Dover, DE.; one grandson, Brian, Jr., and one granddaughter, Alayna Marie; Three brother's in-law, Benny Jones of Detroit, MI, Reginald Johnson of Martinsburg, WV and Pum Johnson of Berryville, VA; three sisters-in-law, Ann J. Lambert and Betty Johnson of Ohio, and Jennifer Johnson of Winchester.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin B. King.

A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday July 9th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Winchester, VA., with Rev Raymond Morton bringing the Eulogy.

Family will receive friends one hour before service at the church.

Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park in Winchester, VA.
