Lee Alan White

Lee White, 69, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away after a difficult few years with Lewy body dementia on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Willows at Meadow Branch.

Lee was born in Weston, West Virginia on September 14, 1954, to Herbert and Joan White.

He and his late wife, Karen, married in 1980 and had three daughters together. He loved to talk to people from all walks of life, and he loved to drive, so, it goes without saying, that he enjoyed his job at Red Carpet Chauffeur very much. He was a patriot and loved to talk politics. While he did not serve in the military himself, he was very outspoken about his support for our vets. He would make a point to thank every single person he met who had served. He loved golf and played every chance he got. He had a heart for his family and loved to play games, from spades, rummy, and poker to monopoly and scrabble.

He is survived by his three daughters: Kylene Setzer of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Kelsey Ambrose of Winchester, Virginia, and Kerbey Lyon of Homer, Alaska, and his nine grandchildren: Kaplan, Logan, Baron, and Sadie Ambrose, and Jayden, Alexander, Keegan, Tesher, and Aaron Lyon.

Lee wished for there to be no service and instead for all to celebrate his life in their own way. You can honor him by thanking a vet today and educating yourself on our elections and then getting out to vote.

His family is relieved that his suffering is over, but will miss his games, antics, snarky remarks, and his random breakouts into song and dance.
