Lewis Lee Pollard

Lewis L. Pollard, 75, of Winchester, Virginia died Saturday March 21, 2009 at
Evergreen health and Rehab Center in Winchester, Virginia.

Mr. Pollard was born October 14, 1933 in Clark County. He was the son of the late Elder Roland Green Pollard, Sr. and Nellie Brooks Holstine Pollard. He was a member of the Triumphant Pentecostal Church in Winchester, Virginia.

He was married to Dorothy Ellen Wood Pollard who preceded him in death.

He leave to cherish his memory; three daughters, Sherry Stewart of Winchester, Virginia Charlet Pollard of Winchester, Virginia, and Tina Jones of Manassas, Virginia; one son, Carl "Rudy" Pollard of District Height, Maryland; one sister, Jessie Pollard Thomas of Winchester, Virginia; a step sister, Gloria Morton of Boyce, Virginia, and adopted sister, Anita Penn of Manassas, Virginia; three brothers, Steven Pollard of Boyce, Virginia, Archie Pollard and Elder Percy Pollard both of Winchester, Virginia; 12 grandchildren.

One brother, Roland Green Pollard, Jr. and one son, Lewis Leroy Pollard both preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life will be Friday March 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Boyce, Virginia with Elder Percy Pollard¬¬ officiating.

Family will received friends Thursday March 26, 2009 7-8 pm at Cartwright Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.

Inurnment will be at a later date.
