Louise Ball Jackson
Louise Mae Ball Jackson, 88, departed this life on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. She was born May 14, 1929 in Opequon, Frederick, Virginia, the daughter of the late, Richard and Beulah Nelson Battle Ball.
She was married to Robert "Pud" Jackson for 38 years before his passing in 1993.
She leaves to cherish her life two daughters, Cary Brooks and Tina Brooks; grandchildren; brothers, Charles and John Ball and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was an active member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in her younger years where she served as an usher, in the Missionary and Willing to Improve Ministries of the church.
She was also a member and served as trustee of the Elks, The Maggie Farrar Desmond Temple, where she hosted meeting in her home. She was given a Testimonial Banquet in the fall of 2008 for her service of over 30 years to this organization
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 11:00 am, Monday June 19th, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Winchester, VA., with Pastor Gilbert M. Mack, Jr.
Family will receive friends one hour before service at the church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and her brothers; David Nelson, Joseph Battle, Jessie Ball and sisters; Daisy Anderson and Viola Smith.
Inurnment will be at a later date.
A repass will be after the Memorial Service in the Church Fellowship Hall.
