Marc Carmel Smith

Marc Carmel Smith was born February 14, 1965 in Middleburg, Va. He was the son of Josie E. Smith and the late Richard D. Smith. Marc viewed his last sunrise on September 4, 2017.

Marc grew up in Loudoun County, Va. and moved to Clarke County in 1982. Marc was well known in the area. He was always walking around town and always had a smile on his face. One of his passions was helping others with yard work. He will truly be missed by many.

In his passing, he leaves to mourn his mother Josie E. Smith, sisters Ellen Johnson (William), Paula Smith, Audrey Sanders (Frank); brother Raymond Smith. His nephews and nieces Antwain Smith, Ronald Smith, Tyra Brown, Tashia Gant and Whitley Johnson. Along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Troy Smith.

Marc's family will receive friends Saturday, September 16 at 10 a.m. at Cartwright Funeral Home, Winchester, Va. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Roy Trammell officiating.

Interment will be private.
