Obituary
Marshall Leroy Dokes, 77 of Clear Brook, VA died on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Brookside Rehab and Nursing Center (Formerly Oak Spring) in Warrenton, VA.
He was born on February 15, 1940, the oldest son of Carrie Gertrude Dokes. H was a member of John Wesley Community Christian Church (Cedar Hill) Clear Brook, VA.
Surviving is one brother; Lawrence Dokes of Bunker Hill, WV; three sisters, Dorothy Brown and Virginia Stern both of Clear Brook, VA and Augusta Dokes Williams of Stephens City, VA; and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends.
Mr. Dokes was preceded in death by; his parents; brother, Arthur Dokes; and sister, Bessie Dokes
A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 am, Friday June 16, 2017 at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, VA., with Pastor Imogene Smith officiating.
Visitation will be one hour before service at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Shenandoah Memorial Park, 1270 Front Royal Pike in Winchester, VA.
