Martha Irene "Teenie" Burns
Miss me. But let me go, for this is a journey we all must take, and each must go alone. It is all apart of the Masters' Plan. A step on the road to home.
Where as on, Thursday July 14, 2022, just three days shy of her 70 th birthday, Ms. Teenie as she was affectionately called, by her family and friends, was born July 17,1952 to the late James Benjamin Burns, Sr., and Martha Lockley Burns.
"Ms. Teenie" loved to laugh and play with her grandchildren. They were the "joy of her life."
Left to cherish her wonderful memory is her daughter, Charlene Burns Collison, son; David Burns (Karen); three sisters, Edna Smith, Doris Burns both of Franklin town, WV., and Toni (Charles) Payton of Rippon, WV.; Her grandchildren who all called her Grandma "Teenie" Burns, Ashley Burns, Leon Twyman (Alex), Lamont Twyman (Heidi), Marcus Burns, Devon Woodward, Elijah Burns (Kacie), Thomas Hughes (Tiffany). Two young ladies, that she loved and helped raise as her own, Daejah Baldridge and Natylee Williams.
Her great-grandchildren; Marley Hornes-Burns, Aaliyah Twyman, Jaedyn Twyman, Braedyn Twyman, Ziggy Hornes-Burns, Mylah Twyman, Kaedynce Twyman, Carter Twyman, Bryce, Braxton, and Blaison Burns, Lillie, and Laekyn Hughes, Jeson Bailey, and Journee Woodward.
Joining her in her new home; her parents, James and Martha Burns, life-long companion, Robert (Junior) Dudley, her youngest son, Nathaniel Frances Burns; a brother, James B. Burns, Jr., two sisters, Barbara A Burns Carpenter and Mary Thomas, two granddaughters, Shaunte Burns and Janea' Burns and a grandson David 'DJ" Burns, Jr.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday August 6, 2022, from 12 pm to 4 pm at
Berryville Parks and Recreation Center
