Mary Lavinia Beamer
Mary Lavinia Beamer, 90, of Winchester, VA, passed away January 10, 2017 at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center in Winchester, VA.
She was born July 3, 1926, in Stephens City, VA, the daughter of the late Anna and Meredith Wanzer. She was a member of John Mann United Methodist Church in Winchester, VA. She served as a Communion Steward and a member of the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Freemont Nursery Mother's Club.
She was married to William E. Beamer, Sr., who preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Ray Beamer of Winchester, VA.; two daughters, Linda Kay Beamer (Burleigh Savage) of Hampton, VA and Debra Beamer Washington (Germando Harris) of Powhatan, VA; three grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A brother, Eldridge "Doc" Wanzer and three sisters, Mildred Jackson, Anna L. Wanzer and Lois Pringley and a son, William E. Beamer, Jr. all preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January14th 2017 at 12:00 pm at Wesley United Methodist Church in Winchester, VA with Lay Leader Clyde Williams officiating.
The viewing will be one hour before service at the church.
Burial will be in Orrick Cemetery in Winchester, VA
