Mary Corinne Brown
Mary Corinne Brown, 94, of Hoffman Estates, IL, formerly of Winchester, VA, went to be with the Lord on April 17, 2016.

She was born August 24, 1921 in Berryville, VA, the daughter of Charles Tracy and Etta Strother Tracy. She was the youngest of eight children. She was employed at the Winchester Memorial Hospital and Leggett's/Belk Department Store. After retiring, she resided in Illinois with her daughter. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, a former Missionary, Usher, Improvement club member, and among Mt. Carmel's first Deaconess.

She was married to John B. Brown who preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories; two sons, John Benjamin Brown, Jr. (Dorothy)of Greensboro, N.C. and James Mcleese Brown, Sr. (Iris)of Fredericksburg, VA; one daughter, Gloria Brown Covington of Barrington, IL, her loving and devoted grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Preceding her in death was a son, Jack V. Brown.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 am Saturday April 23th 2016 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Winchester, VA with Rev. Theresa Bell officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour before service at the church.

Interment will be in Milton Valley Cemetery in Berryville, VA.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 1317 S. Pleasant Valley Road in Winchester, VA 22601, in Loving Memory of Mary Corinne Brown.
