Mary R. Roberts
Mary R. Roberts, 66, of Boyce, Virginia died Saturday March 1, 2008 in the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia.
Mrs. Roberts was born September 5, 1941, in Frederick County, Virginia , the daughter of Anna Jackson of Boyce, Virginia and the late Marvin A. Jackson, Sr. She was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church in Berryville, Virginia and a self-employed Day Care Provider.
She was married to the late Rev. John T. Roberts who preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Lillian A. Turner-Paige and Desiree T. Sewell both of Winchester, Virginia; two sons, George T. Turner II of Winchester, Virginia, and George T. Turner III of Boyce, Virginia; two brothers, William F. Jackson, Sr. and John R. Jackson both of Winchester, Virginia; one granddaughter and one great-grandson.
A brother, Marvin A. Jackson, Jr. and a nephew William F. Jackson, Jr. preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 pm Thursday March 6, 2008 at Grace Episcopal Church in Berryville, Virginia with the Rev. Charles R. Dekle officiating.
Family will receive friend Wednesday March 5, 2008 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Charles "Buster" Jackson Community Cemetery in White Post, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Deacons of St. Luke Baptist Church, Brian Smith and Eric Myers.
