Mary Virginia Roe
Mary Virginia Roe, 95, of Winchester, Virginia died Thursday April 23, 2009
at Blue Ridge Hospice Center in Winchester, Virginia.
Mrs. Roe was born March 25, 1914 in Moorefield, WV., the daughter of the late Bernard Taylor and Nellie Harvey Taylor. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in New York City.
She was married to Henry Roe who preceded her in death.
She leave to cherish her memory; two daughters, Pastor Loretta Malcolm of Winchester, Virginia, and Henrietta Norwood of New York; one son, Ollin Henry Roe of New York; 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Rowena Roe and two sons, Warner Woodson and Wallace Woodson all preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday April 29, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, Virginia with Rev. Henry Harrison officiating.
Family will received friends one hour before service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Copeland, Jerrod Roe, Tavan Mair, Raphael Mair, Micheal Lee, and Royley Malcolm.
Interment will be at Good Hope Cemetery in Front Royal, Virginia.
